In Praise of Round Soap
I really love round soap, the way they fit in the hand, they way they are so easy to rotate to obtain the optimal lather. Awwww-they are just right. I've been working on a smaller version. I have a few special projects in mind for them. They will need to be cut at a different size than my bars, so it means making some sort of wire cutter-but it will be sooo worth it. Here is my first experiment with the smaller size-I'm loving them!

Great size! I have started doing round soaps also and people love the feel of the round bar in their hands. Yours look so smooth and beautiful, with bevelled edges. I am still figuring out what to line my pvc tubes with to get the best finish. Any advice?
@ Lisa-while it does appear that the edges of this soap are beveled they are not-must be the angle. I would suggest that you continue to use your pvc molds until they season. Don't wash with soap and water of you can help it-just use water or wipe them out. Also,if you are a bit more experienced you can use a water discount-less water will allow your soap to pull away from the side a bit more quickly. ;-)
I love cute little round soaps! And you are absolutely correct, they fir just perfectly in your hands. :)
@ Anne-Marie-I love, love how round soaps fit so well in a smaller hand + they are just a bit less common than the typical bar.
