Tea Tree Shave Rounds-3.75oz. $5.50
I recently ordered some Tea Tree to re-visit after not having any in stock for years now. I thought that it would be a "shaving soap" staple- you know a medicinal, antiseptic type scent that I equate with clean shaven + those in the know of Tea Tree's properties are drawn to it's clean nature. I like the scent, but perhaps a bit of Lavender would make it "sing" for me-so next time I think they'll have a touch of lavender. What do you think?
I just listed the Tea Tree only shave rounds for those hardcore "clean" shave folks.

Hi Michele, I like Tea Tree as well, but not everyone does. I have a soap with Tea Tree and Eucalyptus. I also do a foot scrub with Tea Tree, Lavender & Peppermint. Love your photos!!! xo Jen
Tea Tree is a very medicinal scent.I think adding a bit of Lavender to it might be just the ticket. Tea Tree is a great addition to a foot scrub with it's antifungal/antimicrobial properties-nice use of eo.
I love the smell of tea tree. It smells herbal and like your said, medicinal. If I make soap for me, I mix it with juniper and a touch of eucalyptus. Not everybody appreciates that combination though. Marieke
Marieke-Juniper and Tea Tree sounds fabulous-hmmmmmm. I happen to also be a Eucalyptus lover as well.
Thanks for stopping by.;-)
Your blog is really lovely. I just read your latest article on choosing between what sells and what you love best yourself. I'm new at soap making, I might still change my mind, but at this point I also feel that nature itself is enough. I love those beautiful swirl soaps but I love the simple ones better. For now I'll stick to using ingredients that add quality to the soap, not just color or smell.
Tea Tree and Lemongrass go really well together. I make a facial soap with this combination and love the scent it leaves on my hands and face after using it. I've also added Lavender to this combination, and it works really well too.
