Sparkling Rooibos Tea 4.5 ounce
Fruity fresh brewed Rooibos Tea is beautifully complimented with the exotic aroma of blood orange rounded out with the sparkling citrusy floral notes of Bergamot. Breathe, relax, and indulge – it’s tea time.
While lately I have been experimenting with allowing the oils to color my soap in an effort to keep things real and as they are - this soap has a just a touch of clay to give it a little blush of color that I am very happy with. I think that I will experiment with giving my line a little more visual interest with the use of more herbs, and clays.

This soap is such a nice blend of fruity with an edge of exotic however, it seems to be a bit mild for my taste. I think I need to up the eo's quite a bit as the scent seemed to fade a bit as citrus typically does. I originally debated whether or not to drop this one from my line, but in the end I think with a bit of tweaking it will be a fantastic offering (and for now a great choice for those who prefer a mildly scented bar.)

As alwasy, simply, naturally beautiful. Do you have a professional photographer? Or is that you??? Something special about your photos, the darkish ambiance... the focus on the naked soap.... lovely!!! xo Jen
No professional photographer. I take the pictures myself. Most product photography information indicates that you should take photos on a white background(a challenge in itself to get white balance correct.)I take my pictures against wood 1) because I like it 2)I feel it gives my soap a warmish natural background. It breaks the "rules" to do that, but oh well.Photography is an area I struggle with a bit ,but I keep hacking away at it none the less. I think it is important to do it yourself because it is a yet further expression of how you intend your soap to come across - a further expression of you.
You did a great job on the color. Very natural but still cute and interesting!
Awww, thanks Anne Marie, so nice to see you - that baby bump is looking mighty fine-not much longer:))
I really like the pink tinge! Yes, the citrus oils are difficult to anchor - 5x orange will hold up a lot better than a regular orange.
Simply Perfect! I agree with Jen -the photos are professional-quality, too. Beautiful job! :)
p.s. your soap cutting is unbelievable! Do you have one of those bar bevelers?
Hey Miss Becky, thanks so much. Yes, I do have a beveller and it is idiot proof(even I can use it lol!)I use the Lil Shaver from For Crafts Sake. I used to take off just the sharpish edge with a potato peeler, but found I needed something a little more consistent.
Hi Michele,
What a relaxing blend of ingredients in your soap! The blush of color works well. In terms of the citrus fading issue, have you found effective ways to minimize that issue?
I like the fruity-exotic combination.
Michael,5X Sweet Orange holds pretty well and even better if you use an anchor such as a bit of Litsea or one of the bass notes.
This particular soap has blood orange and I will be using an anchor next time - it will help the blood orange to hang around a bit better and give the blend a more rounded scent as well.
